From Malaga Airport take the N340 towards Malaga. Follow the sign for Antequerra. Take the N331(A45) signposted Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla. Take the left hand fork on the N331(A45) continuing to head for Cordoba.

The brand new motorway continues across and over the A92, towards Cordoba. At the junction for Villanueva De Algaidas the motorway ends, so you come off on a slip road, and round a roundabout to take the service road signposted Cuevas Bajas. Follow this road for about 3 minutes, until you see a signpost on the right for Cuevas De San Marcos.

Follow this road past the turning for Cuevas Bajas, and through the small hamlet of Pilar. Carry on this road as it winds through the hills towards Cuevas de San Marcos. It usually takes about 15 minutes to reach the village.

On entering the village, go straight across the roundabout, you will see a red and white pylon on your left hand side, turn sharp left here, the pylon will now be on your right. Take the first turning right, (with two garage doors on the left hand side) and then take the 6th turning on the right. This will bring you to a roundabout with a fountain in the middle, park here and walk a short distance down the 3rd turning from the one you entered by. This is Calle Grama, and No 22 is on your right hand side.

I would not recommend the guest house for anyone with walking disabilities as the house itself is four storey’s high and there are no bedrooms on the ground floor.
